Why this page exists

FoodWarz publishes reference pages such as “calories in …” and “macros in …”. They help estimate a portion quickly, but they do not replace the label on your package or the recipe in your kitchen.

Primary sources

  • USDA FoodData Central for baseline food values;
  • Open Food Facts for packaged products and brands;
  • manufacturer labels, recipe databases and curated reference tables;
  • manual normalization of popular dish names and serving sizes.

How portions are calculated

Reference tables show values per 100 g. Typical serving sizes are listed separately and may differ from what is on your plate. Oil, sauces, sugar, cooking method and brand can change the result significantly.

In-app estimates

When a user logs a meal by photo or text, FoodWarz uses AI models and internal food references. The result is a practical diary estimate that can be edited before saving.

Accuracy and limits

We periodically review high-traffic pages and fix obvious outliers. If you spot an error, email support@foodwarz.ru.
